Core Christian Values

HOPE raises our aspirations and gives us a positive, proactive attitude which helps us endure and persevere. We join with God to make the world a better place.

COMPASSION helps us to love each other and underpins our caring atmosphere where smiles and problems are shared.

WISDOM encourages our independence and determination to learn with and from each other.

FORGIVENESS helps us see each day as a new day where we learn from our mistakes and turn negatives to positives.

THANKFULNESS, shown through praise and joy, cements our appreciation for each other and the world in which we live.

TRUST secures our place in our community as we treat each other with care and fairness.

This morning, children in Classes 3, 4 and 5 had the opportunity to take part in the My First Love: Maths zoom. The children completed work on averages, finding the mean and mode. We discussed how Maths helps careers and how we use Maths in every day life.

Our Christmas disco was such a success that we're having an Easter disco! The children will not need to bring any money to the disco as the payment via Compass beforehand includes a drink and snack.

Mrs Huscroft will arrange a mini disco for Nursery during the day!

Congratulations to our fabulous choir who performed ‘You Can Fly’ from Peter Pan at the annual Darlington Mayor’s Song Contest this evening.
As they were so adorable, the judges created a Special Award called the Judges Award for Cuteness. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🏆🏆🏆
